Alongside her artistic practice, Julie is an art psychotherapist. She facilitates therapeutic art sessions within the community for people experiencing mental health problems. |
 |
She has experience of delivering workshops to young people, engaging them to make the right choices through the exploration of positive and negative emotions and their consequences via art-making activities.
Julie has over 10 years experience teaching art to young offenders & adults in a forensic setting, and currently runs an art group for inmates in a healthcare unit in a prison.
